Lyashenko announces some progress in oil talks with Moscow
Minsk. Speaking to the media on 7 February, Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko told reporters about some headway in oil talks with Moscow at the level of vice-premiers, BelTA has learned. “There is some progress, through not of the kind that we expected,” Igor Lyashenko noted.
According to him, no major progress has been made yet. This pertains to the talks on the tax maneuver and on the gas price for Belarus for the period after 2020.
“We keep working. The heads of state are to meet soon. The major issues will be tackled during these talks,” the vice premier noted.
